I caught up with Chuckie on his latest single Space featuring well known live vocalist Kerry Cherry and newbie C Note. Chuckie says the song came about after a conversation the three artists had on Tik Tok Live, where they discussed the state of the music industry and their own places within it. Chuckie says he encouraged Kerry Cherry to get in the booth again, considering she’s only ever released her 2011 hit Baby alongside Verd, which by the way, is sitting at almost half a million views. After placing a public call-out for beats, Chuckie eventually decided to work with Neo Ndawo on the amapiano-esque track Space, which he describes as having come together rather effortlessly once they were all in studio. Space was released on December 2nd 2022 with an official music video. See the music video :
